I saw this new TV ad from Heinz the other night for Tomato Soup, no doubt for the run up to those chilly Autumn days. The advert was created by Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO and is part of a £2 million pound campaign.
I love how it has brilliantly observed and captured the moment of someone's first mouthful of soup. Beautifully filmed and has a nice tone to it

I have a beautiful girlfriend Becky who, along with her horses Jess, Lucy & Peter have recently taken over my life. I now spend many a weekend on a windy field supporting her Show Jumping.
Cycling is one of my major hobbies. I'm a committee member of Weaver Valley Cycling club and I also organise the Cheshire Classic Women's Road Race, which is part of British Cycling's National Series. I ride a Dave Hinde Race Series road bike with RS80 wheels, Deda Blackfin forks and Ultegra groupset.
There is something special about stumbling across an absolute gem of a record and I listen to all sorts from motown to disco to house. I've been DJing since I was 16 with my best mates Adam, Nay & Tom. We're collectively known as The Homegrown Djs & have toured around the UK & Europe.
I'm a big Man United fan and I'm a bit of a petrolhead too. I currently drive a Golf GTI which will do the job until the Porsche arrives!

does any one know what the tune is ?
I don't but if I hear anything I'll let you know!
thanks
its love me tender - elvis
Good spot!
The song is love me tender
oh thats brill!!! i was searching the net for the answer to that!!
Two words: badly executed. It's been driving me mad trying to work out what the blooming song was too, I thought it was 'There'll always be an England' till now!! Shame really, ruins the whole concept.
i agree with the last guy/gal.
i had no idea what the song was and when i listen back to it i can only just tell what it is. really badly done. when you look at other adverts you can see how the idea got past the board and to the top of the list but again, badly executed.
no its not love me tender try listening to it i kow what it is but dont kow the exact name but it has And let the rest of the world go by. in it
Its defiantly Love me Tender.
its 'no place like home'
its you are my sunshine!
It's you are my sunshine, where the heck did you get love me tender from?!
the song is defiantly, Little Bitty Pretty One. It was off Matilda and is really catchy,
It is 'You are my sunshine'
This whistling annoys me I change channel each time it plays. It make me hate the the soup. Whistling affects people like us who have terribly sensitive ears. The bad effect stays torments my head for more than half an hour. I love adverts and Heinz products, but this advert has caused pain and distress than help market the product. I love the song, I appreciate the effort, but I know quite a few people who agree with me (though they may not change channel) Thanks
There are (at least) two ads in this style; the version I've seen, for Heinz Tomato Soup, uses the song "You are my Sunshine" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/You_Are_My_Sunshine and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pj0GPTEU198), also recorded by Bing Crosby, Doris Day and Johnny Cash (among many many others) and you may have heard it sung in Star Trek Voyager in season 5 episode 22 by the Doctor and Seven-of-Nine (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sOdKNiESE0Q)
